481 of 1,808 United aircraft carry Starlink as of 2026-07-25. That line is baked in at build time, so it is right before any of the live sections below have loaded. See every equipped tail.
The optimizer asks the tracker for a route while you are looking at it, so it needs JavaScript. These tables do not. They are the last answer the tracker gave for every route in this page's data file, baked in when the site was built, and reading them sends nothing anywhere. Every row is a mainline United flight number, the share of its observed departures that drew a Starlink-equipped tail, the number of departures behind that share, the tracker's confidence word and the date the answer was cached. Pairs are ordered by the highest rate on the pair among departures with at least 5 observations.

This part works on any route and it is the part that actually moves your odds. The T-48h check is worth more than the booking choice.
Book the departure with the longest Starlink history on your pair and keep the next two as backups. Avoid the departures that usually draw 737 MAX, A319, A320 or 757 equipment. Those four fleets have no Starlink installs at all today. The cached tables at the top of this page rank every route the tracker has answered for, and each row carries the number of departures behind it.
Aircraft assignments publish about two days out, which turns an estimate into a yes or a no. Check the flight here, or open the United app, then flight status, then inflight amenities. An equipped flight lists Starlink Wi-Fi by name.
Swaps happen. If your flight lost its Starlink tail, look for another departure on the same pair that has one: the confirmed-departures list in §2.2 names the tails already published for your route, and the tracker's own route page carries the same list. A same-day change costs nothing on Gold and above, and $75 otherwise, waived to standby. That is how a coin flip becomes a near-certainty.
Starlink is free onboard, and the sign-in is a MileagePlus account, so make sure everyone travelling with you has one. Expect roughly 100 to 250 Mbps gate to gate.
